Web Clipper

This extension allows taking content from the web and saving a copy of it for future viewing. Evernote Web Clipper works as an extension for web browsers that enables users to capture articles, images, selected text and emails. Similarly, OneNote Web Clipper enables quickly clipping all or part of a web page to OneNote and saving it for later.

Templates are designs that can be applied to users’ pages and give them meaningful backgrounds. Both software have various built-in templates that are customizable and reusable.

This feature differs for two of the software. Namely, while OneNote has the ability to video record and it has a dictation tool, Evernote allows users only to audio record or take screenshots.

Integrations serve as connections to multiple platforms and bring together various types of software sub-systems into a unified system. Both OneNote and Evernote can integrate with Zapier and IFTTT which thus enables them to connect to thousands of other apps and automate many tasks and processes. A slight difference is that Evernote integrates with Gmail, Google Drive, Outlook, Slack, Microsoft Teams and Salesforce while OneNote integrates with Microsoft Word and Outlook.

Notes Sync

Evernote automatically saves notes online and syncs them to all devices. Similarly, OneNote automatically synchronizes shared notebooks.

Team/Project Management

Both software have team/project management but are not developed evenly. Namely, Evernote includes meeting notes, to-do lists and project plans and coupled with its team administration features allows users to manage teams and see notes. In contrast, OneNote requires integrating with Outlook to organize tasks, meeting notes and content to ensure teams access important information.
