Extensive marketing features such as lead analytics, collected forms, email marketing and advertising can be found in both software. However, these features are availble in free and starter plans in HubSpot, while to access them in Salesforce they had to be purchased.

Sales Features

HubSpot’s sales features are limited within the Free CMR. Concerning the Salesforce, this software was originally built as a CMR to drive sales growth so the software comes with built-in contact, lead and opportunity management tools. However, those are followed with different pricing and feature levels.


Even though HubSpot is built for SMB, it offers large amount of integrations, such as – tools for lead management, data transfer, mobile apps, ecommerce and more. Similarly, Salesforce has hudnreds of app intergations and built-in features.


Report is a list of records that can be displayed, filtered and stored in folder. Salesforce displays them in rows and columns or graphical chart. Access for these record is controled by the owner. HubSpot also provides pre-built custom reports and dashboards.


Comparing the two software, Salesforce has stronger customization. Not only that specific new features can be added with standalon apps but also users can have custom coding access to customize anything they want. In contrast to Salesforce, HubSpot requires many upgrades to access new features and there is no coding access for customization.
