Collaboration
This feature allows the softwares’ users to share theirprojects with their colleagues for them to work simultaneously on their projects. One interesting feature that falls under collaboratiion is the integration with outside communication softwares so their features can be used inside the software. Given these softwares’ cimputer requirements, such feature is important as that just means one less software in use.
Integration
This feature allows the softwares’ users to integrate other softwares with either Lucid Chart or Draw io. These softwares might include HR softwares in the case of Lucid Chart. As mentioned in the previous feature, this is important as it saves space on the computer and obviously makes life easier for the users.
Customisation
This feature is pretty straightforward; it allows the softwares’ users to customise their charts’ designs. Given that the purpose of these two soctwares is largely to produce organistional charts, cutomisation is obviously an undeiably important feature.
Drag and drop
This feature allows the softwares’ users to drag and drop parts of their charts. Essentially, it’s a form of editing the chart they’re working on. As mentioned earlier, that is one very essential feature that just has to be there in both softwares.
Data import and export
This allows users to import certain graphic design elements to use in their projects and also allows them to export their finished charts in different formats once they’re done. It goes without saying that this is another very crucial feature since having certain images in your chart and, indeed, being able to use the finished product in different formats are what the users would want. They wouldn’t want to spend hours on a chart for it to be stuck on the software.
Templates
This feature allows the osftwares’ users to either create their own templates for future use or to use pre-made templates from the softwares’ libraries. When the users are tight on time or for continuity and consistency in an organisation, such feature is also important.
